At Fescodent we take care of the oral health of the smallest of the family. We emphasize teaching them the correct oral hygiene techniques and that they acquire them as a daily habit.
All this is carried out through a fun method, creating a pleasant atmosphere making the visit to the dentist an adventure. Additionally, all of our children receive an award after each visit.
Our clinic is part of the Oral Health Program of the Region of Murcia known as PADI.
What is PADI?
The Children´s Oral Health Program consists of a series of preventive measures in order to prevent tooth decay and periodontal disease, and includes treatments that cover the most common pathologies in childhood.
It is a free program and is aimed at all children, with health care provided by the Murcian Health Service (who have a health card), between 6 and 8 years old. Once the children are part
of the Program, they will remain in it until they are 9 years old.

This program has benefits that are completely free. The treatments that are part of these benefits are:
- Individual health education: hygienic measures of tooth brushing, adequate nutrition, need for annual check-ups or more depending on the oral status.
- Topical application of fluorine.
- Placement of sealants in the pits and fissures of the permanent molars, if necessary and by indication of the dentist.
- Permanent molar fillings.
- Mouth cleaning.
- Simple radiology.
- Extraction of temporary pieces or permanent pieces.
- Endodontics of permanent posterior molars.
- Reconstruction of incisors and canines due to trauma and malformation, splinting, dental reimplantation and soft tissue suturing.

Orthodontic treatments and dental extractions necessary for it are not included in the program.
Children of 6 years, at the beginning of each year, will receive a letter of invitation to the Program, informing them of what they must do to go to it.
The parents of the children can go to the clinic only with the health card of the Murcian Health Service.
